The new HTC T-Mobile Wing phone is one such phone complete with PIM and email solutions. Perfect for on-the-go business professionals, the Wing is a Smartphone that will keep up with your every step.
The slider-style phone comes in a casual blue color which looks professional yet youthful. The Wing comes with a soft finish and has a rubbery surface for an excellent grip. The phone’s dimensions 4.3 inches (length) x 2.3 (width), make for a lean and thin looking device. However, the Wing has a solid feel at 5.9 ounces. The Wing comes with a 2.4 inches touch screen and comes with more than 65,000 colors for providing absolute screen clarity and bright colors. The phone can be used either through the touch screen or through manipulating the navigation controls. The QWERTY keyboard can be slid-out by turning the front portion of the phone towards the left. The orientation changes from portrait to the landscape mode when the keyboard comes out. The keyboard comprises square-shaped keys and makes for easy typing.

The new T-Mobile Wing phone runs on the excellent Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional Edition operating system. The system offers super efficient PIM functions to manage your business life. The tool provides a clear overview of your weekly schedule, highlights your appointments with color blocks, and provides details of your appointments - complete with location address - directly on to your screen. Now how cool is that.
Push-to-Email
The Wing brings the Push Email technology to users. Now you can receive all your emails instantly on your cell i.e. at the same time as you would in your inbox on your email client on your computer. The emails can also be synchronized with your Outlook calendar. Your phone’s inbox resembles your email client with mails marked according to importance. You can even search emails by just typing in a word. What’s more, you can carry out a search on your organization’s global directory and find out the contact details of the person you are looking for. You can reply your mails, delete the unwanted mails or even declare mails as spam – and all this is easily possible through the nine shortcuts available.
Connectivity
The Wing lets you connect wirelessly via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (v1.2). Now you can enjoy the benefits of handsfree kits and wireless headsets, all thanks to the Wing’s Wi-Fi. The wireless connection lets you connect to one of T-Mobile’s hot spots smoothly. You can browse the internet, send and receive emails either through Wi-Fi or through the EDGE network. The EDGE network provides decent speeds (90 kbps) for a variety of data services like browsing, music and video streaming and mobile email.
Browsing Features
If you want the pleasures of browsing exactly the way you do it on your PC or laptop, then the Wing should be the phone of your choice. The phone lets you browse a full HTML version of the web along with some cool Live Search functions via Windows Live for Mobile. Now you can search for anything and everything such as directions to a place, parking lot addresses or directions to local businesses, virtual maps for directions and traffic updates. And what’s more, if there is a number attached to a business address, you can even call the number by tapping onto the number directly. How cool is that!
Camera Features
The 2.0 mega pixels digital camera and camcorder that come with the T-Mobile Wing make for some great relaxation. When you’ve had enough of work just switch to the camera mode and shoot. The camera comes topped with some handy tools such as a 8x Zoom, five clicking resolutions, white and brightness balance, night mode, self timer, and a picture counter. The video recorder captures shots in the Motion JPEG, H263 and MPEG file formats.
