LG Neon Blue for AT&T
The LG Neon Blue instantly draws comparisons to the Xenon in terms of the designing and interface. However, touted as mainly a messaging phone, it does stand in its own right, owing to the funky color scheme and the eye-catching circular keys. The keypad is a side-sliding QWERTY and the large display screen turns in to a Touch screen but only when you need to dial a number.
The technology in the phone is pretty simplistic and basic, taking care of the essentials only. A 2.0 megapixels camera, Bluetooth technology and memory expandable up to 4 GB are some of the features worth mentioning. Coming to the messaging features, the phone supports regular text and multimedia messages, emails, IM and web browsing…nothing out of the world, but definitely a few notches above a regular basic phone.

Product Description
LG Neon Blue design
The White and Blue color that the phone sports, are a little hard to miss. That, the circular keys and the huge display screen with a resolution of 240x 320 pixels and over 262,000 colors in WQVGA display make the phone instantly eye-catching. The keypad slides out to reveal an ice-blue QWERTY keypad, with large, round keys and ample spacing between the keys, so you almost never end up pressing the wrong keys. The display screen becomes a Touch screen when you have to dial, giving you greater ease. The navigation keys on the phone are again unique, with 4 circular keys, instead of the usual one large navigation key.
The phone is made of a light material and hence weighs only 3.8 ounces. It is also super thin, so you can carry it, and use it conveniently. On the sides of the body, it has a camera dedicated key, volume keys, a Micro SD port and a charging port. The phone menu is standard AT&T albeit with cool animations that make it a little interesting. The phone runs on the Java application platform, and is internationally compatible so you can make and receive calls from any part of the world (roaming charges apply).
Dialing-only Touch screen
The Samsung Neon Blue does have a touch screen but exclusively for dialing only. When in the dial mode the screen shows all the number keys, and each gets highlighted as you press it. The screen is pretty tactile when it comes to that, and makes you wish that you could do a little more than just dialing with it.
Bluetooth technology
The phone does support Bluetooth so you can connect to other compatible devices like your car kit, IPod, gaming devices etc. The stereo headsets (A2DP) connect wirelessly to your phone so you can talk even while you’re driving or busy, and even listen to music whenever you want, completely hassle-free.
Messaging features
Touted as a messaging-focused phone, it supports your regular text and multimedia messages with pictures. What it also offers is email support with all popular clients like Yahoo! and hotmail, as well as internet browsing with the WAP 2.0 and Media Net browsers. The instant messenger support on the phone is also pretty comprehensive as it supports accounts on Yahoo! Aim etc. The only glitch is that you can only log on to one messenger at a time, thus offering you a little limited connectivity.
However, the QWERTY keypad with its ample spacing and large round keys, more than makes up for it, as you can’t help but enjoy chatting and texting on it.
2.0 megapixels camera
The Samsung Neon has a 2.0 megapixels camera for all your pictures, so you never end up missing out on your precious moments. You can store these on your phone, coz with memory expandable up to 4 GB; you have ample space, or send them to your friends via multimedia messaging.
The picture display comes with a nice 3-D effect, when you want to browse through them. This can be changed to the thumbnail style according to your preference. The special camera dedicated key on the side of the phone, give you instant access to the camera.
Entertainment
The phone does have a lot to offer on the entertainment front. An in-built MP3 player lets you groove to your favorite music anytime and anywhere. There is the Gaming option, which lets you play games that are already installed on your phone, or download more, when you’re done with them. The phone also lets you change your screen wallpapers, themes according to your mood and style. You can set polyphonic ringtones to reverberate across the room every time someone calls. What’s more you can even set Picture IDs and Custom ringtones for every caller, so a picture of the caller flashes on the screen, and a unique ringtone plays out loud, every time they call.
Organizing tools
The phone comes with an array of tools like alarm, calculator, voice memos etc so you can stay organized and prepared for every meeting, birthday, date and other important days and events.
