The Motorola CLIQ with MOTOBLUR is the first Google Android phone with Motorola for T-Mobile. The Motorola's version of the now popular Google Android interface seeks to make the phone more and more customizable and user-friendly so the user does not waste time in complicated menus and applications, but everything is laid out simply in the most uncluttered manner.
The CLIQ with MOTOBLUR is a touch screen with a self aligning virtual QWERTY keypad and sliding keypad as well. Apart from the apparent ease that the phone aims to present, it also has many interesting features. These include - Bluetooth version 2.0+EDR, GPS support, easy PC synchronization, Wi-Fi capability, and a 5.0 megapixels digital camera, social networking, and streaming multimedia support.

The Motorola CLIQ with MOTOBLUR in Titanium is a phone that spells ease and comfort. With the dimensions and weight just right for it to be held in your hand, and fit easily in your pocket, the ease of use is not at the cost of its handling. The CLIQ is a QWERTY side sliding style touch screen phone. The main display is a good 3.21 inches with a brilliant HVGA display. The 4 row QWERTY keypad is side sliding, and can be used in place of the virtual QWERTY keypad, which is also just as convenient actually.
The phone body has a 3.5 mm headset jack, camera dedicated key, USB/charging slot, and volume toggle keys for your convenience. The touch screen is not only responsive and highly intuitive but also comes with a proximity sensor so the screen automatically goes on standby when it is near your face. The main phone body, in keeping with the easy-to-use theme, has a very minimalist set of keys - the menu, call, and back/end keys.
Home screen
Motorola's version of the Android, the MOTOBLUR aims at presenting all the applications that a user may need, according to his needs and convenience, by way of 5 screen panels which you can flip through one after the other, easily. Each screen can be customized with widgets from Google as well as Motorola. You can add, delete and change the placements of any widgets on any of the screens according to your convenience.
Happenings
The Happenings option on the main screen is one of the most interesting features that the MOTOBLUR has to offer. On powering the phone on, you can create an exclusive username and password to consolidate and configure all your social networking profiles on your phone. The Happenings application gives you updates on any of the sites you are logged into. Not only can you view the updates, but comment on them, all from one place.
More than just Contacts
When you open your contacts, you get to see more than just their names, numbers, email IDs etc. Every contact entry also displays the contact's profile if he/she is on your list. So their status updates, pictures etc flash on your screen along with the contact information!
