The Motorola Rapture VU30 is an imposing device, designed esthetically and assembled keeping the users’ needs in mind. This slender-bodied phone has a two-toned shell and does not require too big a space in your bag or pocket, though it makes for a nice grip in your palm. The external display of this flip-styled phone is a large screen supporting 65,000 colors at a resolution of 96 x 80 pixels. This screen on the phone’s outer-side lets you check the date, time, signal strength and battery life without having to flip-it open. Also, it shows the numeric caller ID.
The music player and camera can also be activated with the phone closed. The phone has a 3.5mm stereo headset jack and a mini-USB port for charger and USB cables. Then there are buttons for voice-dialing, handset-locking and the speakerphone. The 2.2 in screen on the inner aspect of the phone shows bright, vibrant graphics and images with display of over 262,000 colors and a resolution of 240 x 320.
