The Motorola Renew is built completely out of recycled water bottles and its packaging also echoes its eco-friendly nature by being made from 100% recycled material. The Renew also promises to reduce as much as energy wastage as possible with nine hours of talk time by using less energy compared to other phones. The phone comes loaded with Motorola’s Crystal talk technology.
The phone’s handset is small and easily slips into your pocket. But it offers more than 65,000 colors on the display screen, a navigation keypad with a four-way toggle and a central OK button, talk and end buttons. The phone provides a 2.5mm headset jack and a mini-USB charger port locate don either sides of the phone.
Green features
The Renew comes in a brown packaging that is but of course recycled and very eco-friendly. The phone box comes with a unique measure and gesture. It comes with bag in which you can pack in your former device and send it off for recycling to Motorola. The phone box is also 22% smaller than the average phone box hence uses less material. The renew includes other features such as vibrate mode, text and multimedia messaging, a speakerphone, a calculator, an alarm clock, USB syncing, and support for T-Mobile's My Faves service where you can choose five common contacts and make unlimited calls to them on any network or landline without having to use your talk time.
