The Novatel Ovation U760 modem works like magic with any device that has a USB slot. The modem is a dream-come-true for anyone who wants to remain connected while they are out and about. The modem gives users high speed broadband access to EV–DO networks. It provides speeds and performance almost as good as DSL connections or cable. The modem supports Windows and Mac PCs. For additional storage space in your device, the modem comes with a microSD memory card slot. And that’s not all. The modem also has an optional navigation system available to users (plan required).
Connectivity
The modem offers high speed connectivity through the Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revolution A (Rev. A) network. This network is just right for downloading and uploading a whole host of high-end data services by providing average download speeds of 600 kbps to 1.4 mbps and upload speeds of 350 to 500 kbps. What’s more, when your modem is connected within the coverage area you can view email attachments up to 1 MB in just about eight seconds. And after you’ve read the attachment you can upload another file of the same size just as quickly in less than 13 seconds.

The modem lets you access your mail along with large attachments. Now not only can you access your official emails but also read important documents attached to it and reply to it instantly or even upload a file while you are at it. How cool is that! The Novatel U760 USB Modem can be powered with just a post software installation. All it need is connecting to the USB card slot v2.0. In order to secure your device, the modem uses CDMA wireless technology authentication and identification system. It is compatible with Windows Vista/XP/2000, Macintosh OS X 10.3.9 or higher and Linux operating systems. The internal antenna ensures that there are no breakages because of an externally placed antenna (which get damaged due to banging or falling to the ground). An external antenna jack is included in the modem box.
