Considered to be one of the smallest and neatest USM modems currently available in the market, the Option quicksilver offers is compatible with tri-band 3G data download networks which is perfect for international roaming (additional charges apply). The Quicksilver’s swanky four-click swivel mechanism can accommodate different USB port layouts and designs. It also protects the USB connector when it is not in use without having to worry about an extra protective cap. How handy is that?
The modem comes installed with the plug and play feature, which starts working with the installation of AT&T’s Communication Manager Software. The plug-and-play feature lets you start the installation process instantly and gets your connectivity running in seconds.

The 3G network uses dual band UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900 MHz network and is compatible with 2100 MHz 3G networks ( only found in international locations).The super efficient 3G network provides download speeds ranging from 700 Kbps to 1.7 Mbps and upload speeds between 500 Kbps to 1.2 Mbps. This ensures that users can enjoy a variety of function-rich features such as simultaneous voice and data services. So, while you area on a phone call, you can send or receive data files to/from another compatible phone. Now that is called multitasking. The EDGE network comes into action in places where 3G is not available. It provides reasonable high data speeds for downloading (70-135Kbps) support data services such as sending and receiving video and music clips, full picture and video messaging, high-speed web browsing, and mobile email.
