Product description
Pantech C610 Flame Red Design
This new flamboyant phone in shiny metallic red is definitely an eye catcher not just for its looks but also for the array of features it offers and high-speed connectivity through its 3G networks. The chrome finish at the top gives it a very uber cool look for an entry-level phone. The C610 is very light and compact and weighs only about 3.3 ounces. The external display screen is one inch in length and has over 65K colors so that you can view the photo caller id with absolute clarity. The screen on the outside also serves the purpose of self-portrait viewfinder for the camera. The phone when flipped open reveals another colorful 2.2 inches display screen with 262000 colors which results in very sharp and clear images.
The control pad features a toggle that works four ways with the middle key being used for confirmation. The toggle also is shortcut to access new messages, instant messenger, applications, your contacts and the My Stuff folder, which contains audio files, graphics and games. The middle key serves as a web browser shortcut. To the left is the volume button and the covered memory card slot. The covered slot ensures freedom from dust and dirt for the memory card.
The phone book allows up to 500 entries you can enter up to five numbers per contact, two email addresses, a street address, a memo and web URL. That’s quite a bit of contact information there. A cool feature on this simple phone is that contacts can be categorized into groups and even paired with their photos or associated with one of the ten available polyphonic ring tones on the phone. How great is that!
Connectivity
The phone comes with high-speed data connectivity through AT&T’s 3 G mobile networks for a wireless experience. The 3G network ensures that both voice and data services are available on the C610. In locations where 3G is not available; AT&T’s EDGE network comes to the rescue. Its speed (75-135Kbps) is enough to support data service such as video and music clips, picture and video clip messaging, high speed color internet access and mobile email.
Using AT&T’s Video Share services powered by the 3G connectivity, you can send out live, one-way video streams to your friends and family even while making a call.
For a basic phone to be loaded with AT&T’s Navigator GPS software and service is a boon. The navigator gives detailed audio turn-by-turn directions, live traffic updates, rerouting choices and 3D moving maps (additional charges applicable). No wonder this phone is popular with architects, contractors according to a recent AT&T research.
Entertainment
For a crisper, sharper photo quality, the 1.3 megapixel camera offers six different resolutions (1280x1024, 320x240, 640x480, 1024x768, 176x220, and 176x144) for taking photographs. Other settings include white balancing, color settings and quality settings. The camcorder records in two resolutions- 176x144 and 128x96 and in varying lengths such as a shorter one for the MMS version and a longer one for the memory.

Going crazy over the song playing on the radio right now and dying to find out who the artist is or what the name of the track is? Fear not.
