The Glyde is a lot like the LG Voyager; however, the Glyde easily 'glides' open. The LG Voyager is more of a standard horizontal flip phone. The Voice-driven Menus are popular since it relies on less hand movement and more on voice commands. The Verizon Wireless Voice Plan Options are another feature available on your Samsung and so are the Verizon Wireless V CAST Plan Options and the Verizon Wireless TXT+PIX+FLIX Plan Options.

The Digital Camera on the Glyde is 2.0 Megapixel and the Camera/ Camcorder comes with a host of options including Flash, Landscape Viewfinder, Autofocus, and Picture Editing. The Video Capture / Camcorder has a QVGA Resolution of 320 x 240 Pixels Max and allows you take up to 1 hour long videos as long as you have memory available. And you can take your video in multiple Formats as well. In aggregate a good phone with good camera options.
Entertainment
Dealing with the Entertainment features on the Glyde, the first thing worth mentioning is the Streaming Multimedia Support. With this feature, you can obtain On-demand Streaming Music and TV along with V CAST Mobile TV Feature – this is a good one to subscribe to because it pretty much covers all your TV and music requirements. The MP3 Player supports MP3, AAC+, AAC, Playlists, and V CAST. You may download or Sync From PC, depending on your preference. The Polyphonic Ringtones are also downloadable, while Custom Ringtones are an option as well. MP3 Ringtones allow you to use ringtones in the following formats as well: MP3, AAC+, WMA, AAC Files. The Ringer Profiles allow you to store your ringtones in the order in which you use the most, while the Picture Caller ID puts a face or at least a picture next to your caller so you can identify who’s calling. The Games on the Glyde are super fun and you can download Brew Titles as well. This Samsung phone is also V CAST enabled. With Customizable Graphics that are downloadable, you can customize your phone to have several displays to your liking and add that personal touch to make the Glyde uniquely yours.
