The UM 150 comes with a plethora of handy tools and features contained in its tiny frame. The modem is armed to the teeth with an USB drive that also works as a power-supply point, a microSD memory card slot that can accept cards up to 4 GB for extra storage space, and a CD ROM for super quick installation. The UM 150 works like a dream with Macs and PCs and can be installed with the VZAccess Manager software. This sleek and compact modem works with any computer as long as it has a USB slot. All you need to do is connect and the modem installs itself in a jiffy. And then you can start downloading or uploading at super fats speeds provided by the Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revolution A networks.
Connectivity
The modem comes with a GSM network compatibility of CDMA (800, 850, 1800, 1900 MHZ). This network supports data download speeds from The Evolution-Data Optimized Revolution A (Rev. A) network. The modem is hardy enough to handle a range of high-speed data services thanks to the EV-DO download and upload speeds. Data download speeds from EV-DO rev A are available (uploads reaching to 1.8 Mbps and downloads reaching to 3.1 Mbps speed).
